A big media interview mistake

One of the biggest mistakes I see in media interviews is the fear of not having all the answers. Too often, people feel pressured to answer every question, even when they’re far out of their area of expertise.

Don't be afraid to say things like “let me get back to you on that” or "that's outside of my skill set but I can speak to you about xyz".

Avoid wading into unfamiliar territory. Your credibility is worth more than an off-the-cuff answer you're uncertain about.
